The Pensacola Beach Turkey Trot for Thought 5K began with a deeply personal mission: to support brain cancer research at the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke University. What started as a way to honor the memory of Sabine Mireille Laguna and advance critical research has grown into a meaningful community tradition on Pensacola Beach. Over the years, your participation has helped raise awareness and funding for innovative treatments and life-changing breakthroughs in brain cancer care. Expanding Our Impact in 2026

This year, we are proud to expand our reach by partnering with Children in Crisis, a Northwest Florida nonprofit dedicated to providing homes and hope for children in need. Through their programs, Children in Crisis supports foster children and families, offering stability, care, and a brighter future for some of our community’s most vulnerable youth.
